LT Public Relations: Philanthropy
Each year, LT Public Relations proudly gives back to the underserved and local communities-in-need by providing its services, free of charge, to one nonprofit organization that is challenged with raising its awareness to meet its mission.
To meet this challenge, we encourage other local businesses and related marketing services firms to join us by donating their time, talents and services to complement our efforts to support one of the many great nonprofits in the Pacific Northwest.
LT Public Relations Nonprofit Challenge
In 2010, LT Public Relations launched its Nonprofit Challenge—a twelve-month pro bono initiative that supports the public relations efforts of a local Oregon or Washington nonprofit (501(c)(3)) that has a mission of providing—for example—financial education, professional services or related assistance to the deserving community.
LT Public Relations selected Financial Beginnings as the 2010 recipient of the Nonprofit Challenge (see Financial Beginnings case study).
This year, we are pleased to announce that REACH Community Development has been selected as the recipient the 2011 LT Public Relations Nonprofit Challenge. REACH, which will receive 12 months of pro bono communications support, is a Portland-based nonprofit with a mission to provide quality, affordable housing and financial education for individuals, families and communities to thrive.
The LT Public Relations team will work collaboratively with REACH to raise the nonprofit’s awareness by providing communications guidance and support via media relations, media training, community outreach, social media and other related communications services.
